(no subject)
So...
I totally thought that my dress (from Lord and Taylor for prom) was sold, because it was too big to begin with and I didn't put it on hold last night for that reason - which made me very disappointed. So Stephanie and I looked for other dresses, in which we did not succeed. So I go to work today and find my dress in the fitting room, just waiting for me to put it on! So on my break I do, and the fitter comes down, and takes in 2 sizes, but IT FITS! And the best part? Next Saturday is Red Rose day, which means I get an extra 15% off anything I buy, and my new friend Amy who works there has a coupon for 20% off dresses that cost over $150, plus my associate discount of 25% off. Which means my dress comes to about $100 (plus $22 for alterations) from $200! Which means the fitter is holding my dress there for a week, which she really isn't allowed to do, but is doing anyway for me! Ah! I am so excited! And it's freaking perfect. Honestly, it's so amazing. I am in love with it.
And luck would have it that Stephanie found her dress today too! Hooray for dress shopping on Saturdays! I mean work was so long (10 hours!) but it was so worth it!!
Of course now I am broke, but life goes on. haha.
