Fandom/Pairing: Glee: Quinn Fabray/Rachel Berry
Spoilers: Season 1 Finale
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: I do not own Glee or the song lyrics that I borrowed as titles.

A/N: I wrote these right after watching the finale, so if they are a little strange it's because I was (still am) in the Glee Finale Haze. [They shoved A LOT of content into that one didn't they?] I hope you enjoy.

Can’t do this to me baby

Quinn looked around her old room, which was her new room now, and felt the emptiness in the silence that was her childhood home. No father to criticize her, no sister to make fun of her, and her mother was as absent as she had always been. The blonde’s hand grasped at her now flat stomach and she let out a sob at the absence of the life she had carried for so long. Even if she rebuilt the golden life she once had, the one she had so violently been kicked out of, she would never be home again.

As if nothing really matters

Sniffling as the cold from the frozen drink dripped down her sweater, Rachel refused to look in the mirror. She could not see the defeated look on her own face or the terrible clashing of colors on the gold star sweater she had just got from her fathers as a gift for doing so well at regional’s. No one ever liked her sweaters anyway. But today had been different; she had seen Quinn smirk when she walked into glee. She knew it had been the sweater as the other girl had been staring at her chest when her lips quirked.

Too late my time has come

Rachel watched as Quinn Fabray retook her position as queen of McKinley High. She watched as the newly reinstated head cheerleader flipped her perfect blonde hair and batted her long eyelashes at Puck, then Finn, and then Puck again. The diva felt ill as she watched them together. Did they never learn? It was almost as if Beth had never been born, as if Glee had never happened. But then Rachel saw it, the faltering of a smile as Finn touched Quinn’s hand and Puck touched her shoulder. The two girl’s eyes locked and held with determination, it wasn’t over.

Sent shivers down my spine

Rachel dragged her tongue up a quivering thigh. Moving up, she placed a light kiss between the breasts of her lover and asked, “Are you happy?”

“I don’t know”

Seemingly unfazed, the brunette continued kissing the blonde’s body while her hand traveled between thighs. Against Quinn’s lips she whispered, “I think you’re happy. I think I make you happy.”

With a gasp the ex-cheerleader’s hands fisted tightly onto the crisp white sheets of her bed. Her back arched, lifting the heft of her body, awakening muscles that had long been out of use. Quinn shivered everywhere as she came undone.

But I, would rather you let me give my heart

“Quinn, stop!” Rachel wrestled with the now skinnier girl as the blonde tried to push her away. She tried to be careful as the ex-cheerleader had become so thin she would probably bruise. The thought made Rachel’s stomach roll in disgust.

“Get off me, Berry!” Quinn yelled through her tears.

“No, Quinn! You need to stop. You need to stop fighting our friendship and you need to stop doing this to yourself, you’re better than this.” The blonde froze with the realization that Rachel knew. She went limp with defeat when strong arms circled her waist and held her tight.

She loves the lovin’ things

At first, Quinn had thought that she had become Rachel Berry’s new obsession because she had lost the baby weight and the diva had run out of options at the school that were male. Then she started letting the girl in: Into her car, into her room, and into her heart. It seemed to happen too hard and too fast, but that was Rachel. A whirlwind of energy and strength, especially when the blonde felt herself too weak to stand on her own. But then Quinn realized that it had only taken a soft kiss to make Rachel her obsession.
