*evil cackle* I should be in school. I'm not. Teeheehee. When the film finished (twas very good as well) we decided not to go back to school for English so I just came home.
CONCERT WAS AMAZING!
Lets start from the beginning, shall we?
After getting home from school really quickly, I changed, had something to eat and started faffing about. I saw Caroline going into her house at about half two so I thought that she'd be along in half an hour or so. She turned up at about half three ish, after I was getting all hyped up and aggitated. We got the bus then headed up to Victoria Street. When we got there, there was already about twenty people or so but I thought it'd be ok because it's still fairly easy to get to the front. Two women in front of us had pizza and kept offering me some and I felt bad for taking it but I did. Twas very nice pizza too ^_^ The waiting in the queue was really fun because we were chatting to these women (forgot to ask their names) and then Eero came out to get something off the bus. He kept coming and going and I couldn't get a decent photo of him so I took a photo of his guitar ^_^ Then this annoying little chav threw a block of wood at the woman in front of me and started shouting abuse at everyone in the queue so I ran after him. He got all scared because he didn't expect anyone to be brave enough to chase after him so he scampered away very quickly.
My mum and Ian eventually turned up as it started to get dark and nearer opening time and everyone was getting muchly excited. WhiteRaven person had a little sing aong going which was fun as well. Eero came out again, hidden so cleverly under a big jumper (bless) and disappeared onto the bus and didn't come off again 0.o Must have scared him. Ashleigh, Ashley and Samm wandered past and I had a little chat with them before they went to the end of the queue because they didn't want to skip.
When the doors finally opened, I grabbed Caroline and ran as fast as I could down those really narrow steps to the hall and ran to the stage. There was only one line of people so I was really close to the stage. There was these two bitches infront of us who were holding onto the barrier and decided that they wanted more room and kept pushing us back the whole night and shoving our hands out the way when we tried to hold onto the barrier. And one of them got a drumstick and Aki's water bottle which was so unfair! Aki well looked at me when he was handing his drumdsticks out. grrr.
The support act - Hiding Place - were really good. The singer kept holding out his hand to the crowd so I shook his hand a lot ^_^ He threw water over us too, hehe. It was a little while before The Rasmus came on but it was great when they did. They started with Guilty which was unexpected because they usually always start with First Day of My Life.
One thing I'll never forget is:
LAURI TOUCHED MY HAND!!!!
Yes I know I'm sad but I don't care! He held his hand out to us and the bitch infront of me wouldn't let go of him so I grabbed his pinkie and then stroked his shoe. ^_^
Everyone went crazy for In The Shadows as usual and it was soo great! Two bad things were, 1) they didn't play Heartbreaker and 2) they played a random old song (a cover) that I didn't know.
At the end, the security guards started passing out water and I got a drink from Lauri's water bottle *squeals* I was so tempted to steal the drumstick from the girl in front of me because she didn't deserve both of them :( Ah well, I'll get one eventually.
We found Ash etc etc at the toilets (Samm had been sick :( ) And waiting to see if my mum and Ian had gone out yet. We found them outside when we went out then headed to Princes' Street for the bus home. Got and chippie and went to Caroline's for a bit before heading home and going to bed to hte lovely familiar sound of "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" in my ears.
I had the weirdest dream as well. I was Kyle Minogue (don't ask, it confuses me too) and Ace Ventura was chasing after me and when he ran towards me, I just lifted my foot up and he ran straight into it...where the sun don't oftne shine. The fact that I had doc. matrins on didn't help ihm. Though it doesn't make sense why Kylie would be wearing big boots like that but when do dreams ever make sense!
And that was the story of my concert adventure. I'm just about to leave for work now but before that I'm going to go get the hour processing for my camera to see how my photos turned out. If they're any good, I'll scan them and get them up tomorrow some time. Talk to ya all later!
