Mickey had already been on the road when he'd gotten her text with her twenty, and it didn't take him much longer than that to roll into the motel parking lot on his bike. It had been a nice drive by himself, but he was ready for some company, and if company was coming in the form of Ryan, she wasn't going to complain.

Ryan bounced up to her feet, ponytail swinging when Mickey pulled up on the bike. She leaned in and kissed him on the cheek then fluidly swung onto the bike behind him. It only took her a moment to secure the duffel bag. She took a pair of big, wrap around sunglasses out of it and put them on. Her arms went around Mickey's waist.

"How are you, Handsome?" she whispered in his ear, her chin resting on his shoulder.

"Pretty good," he replied, once she was settled and started to rev up the bike again, pushing off so he could start turning around. "Glad to finally have a partner in crime -- even if it's just for a little while."

He started to hit the speed as they headed towards the highway, before glancing back at her briefly. "How 'bout you?

"Hey I like the partner in crime thing," Ryan said, closing her eyes as they sped up. Her arms tightened around his waist a little.

"I'm good. Glad to get out of Indiana. Thanks for coming to get me."
