Despite the fact I'm feeling completely chaotic, it's my summer holidays.
Which is expected, because my mind is probably still going: "No, wait! What work have you forgotten to do for today?"
So, it will take a bit to sink in. I've wanted school to finish since the beginning of second semester, therefore I would've felt the break to be an easy settle-in. Obviously not.
Feeling fairly drained, I have a good friend's birthday party tonight. Not sure if I'll last till late, but we'll see.

With the trailer to Prince Caspian being released; a teaser for the 2nd season of Torchwood; bits and pieces beginning to seep out for the Doctor Who Christmas Special, I'm in fan-mode. Which is a good thing, of course. But I'm fairly restless for it all to come by.
And of course there's THAT Series 4 spoiler for Doctor Who, which in all honesty, hasn't hit me yet. Properly.
Still. That day I suffered from the most violent squee attack I never thought to be capable of. Um, yea. March 2008... hurry up.
As of now, I've converted many to the marvelous side of Doctor Who. So, I have hosted around 3 or so DW marathons in the last few months. Not a bad thing, at all. But you always experience that feeling of: "Hey, that's my fandom!"
Thursday, I headed down to the ABC Shop and collected my ordered copy of the Series 3 box set, another DW book (it was POP-UP. Two weaknesses in one. I couldn't resist) and a LED Sonic Screwdriver - which rules. Except, when they bring out a better and more prop-worthy, new sonic screwdriver, I want noise. It doesn't feel the same without that marvelous sound. But anyhow, it does the job of pleasing my inner-fangirl.
May I also say, the Doctor Who books are darn good. I adore them.

I have things to get done, cleaning my floor from recently-old school books, etc.
On that note, Christmas approaches with a speed that slightly frightens me. Another year, whoosh, gone.

doctor who, christmas, school
