Well, had to balance out all that grumpy meanness from Chinen with somebody. :| And since we also needed more teachers, decided to pick this big friendly klutz of a man. ^^
He's been teaching at the school for about eight years now, so he should already know pretty much everyone, and he was also a first generation student when it was first built. (So don't think he doesn't know what some of you kids get up to at times. ...Because he was doing them himself once. >>;) But this place practically is home to him and he loves it here and all the people he's met through the years of being here. Everyone's welcome to come talk to him anytime. His door's always open.
Also, for any characters out there that have powers that require the use of their hands and are having trouble *not* using those powers anytime they do something with their hands, Saitou is happy to mentor them on a one on one basis if they so wish. He had a teacher mentor him through his own problems with his hands back when he was going to school, so he figures he should help students that are also going through the same thing he did since he's been there.
