I'm having a love affair!
Okay, so I FINALLY finished writing the matzah kugel song. If you read music, I'd love to e-mail it to you as a pdf. Or, if you don't read music, you can wait until I see you, and then I'll sing it (or I can e-mail it to you anyway and you can just read the lyrics).
I'm also currently working on another song called "Love Affair." I wrote it for 1.5 voices (1.5 because the second voice only sings during the last two choruses and the coda-like thing) and piano accompaniment. Basically, I've figured out the notes and harmonic progressions. I did write many parallels in the piano part, but on purpose because I was going for a certain effect/style, and it sounds exactly like I want it to. Take that, Bach! Now, I really just have to figure out what kind of dynamics will best illustrate what I'm saying. I'd be happy to show it to you guys when I'm done.
