HELP ME PLEASE
ok so i'm trying to number my thesis, and this is basically my problem: (yes, i did just copy and paste this from my myspace bulletin. i'm desperate here, people)
ok so i'm in the last phase of editing my thesis, but i can't figure out how to put the damn page numbers in the document. i have two different sections to number: the front matter (approval, copyright, title, etc. pages) and the actual text. only the last two pages of the front matter section need to be numbered, and they need to have roman numerals. the section with the actual text needs to start with page 1 and continue through the whole rest of the document. but... i can't figure out how to make the first section different from the last section or how to suppress the page numbers on the first three pages of the front matter. if anyone knows how to do this, PLEASE please please help me out. i'm about to pull my hair out and scream.
