Blonde Redhead *Melody Of Certain Damaged Lemons*
NYC's very own Sonic Youth-inspired, Blonde Redhead. I haven't given this album a listen in quite some time, so I thought I'd put it in this week's rotation. Overall a classic album, that I feel everyone should have in their collection.

Consonant *Consonant*
As a longtime fan of Mission Of Burma, curious about MOB's bassist/vocals Clint Conley's project, Consonant. Released in April, this self titled album marks their debut, and Conley's first full-length release since MOB's break up in 1983.

Bis *Intendo*
Released in 1998, *Intendo*, is a compilation of some of Bis's first recordings. Bis has always been known to cover all the bases when it comes to punk, a bit electronica, and riot.

onelinedrawing *Visitor*
Remember emocore? Remember the band Far? For those of you who answered yes to both questions, than you more than likely know of Jonah Matranga, former lead singer of Far. This is a beautiful album. Very stripped down and fluid.

Wire *Chairs Missing*
Wire were known as the minimalist of the post-punk scene. On *Chairs Missing* they continue such a title. Wire creates a fusion between punk and art, and combines in a way that only Wire could.

Faraquet *The View From This Tower*
"Powerful, driving, anthemic and epic, while at the same time delicate and musically profound. The playing is extraordinarily tight and pristine, the change-ups and musical adventures are liberating, exciting, and very often surprising."
