Blimey thank goodness I do not eat KFC that would be supporting such greed-infested cruelty. Those photos may show the same thing being skeletal human figures but the 1st group has no choice in being in that position whereas the 2nd group made the choice to be that way however not necessary as they may have a eating disorder. The point is the 1st group has very little provided for them & cannot buy the necessities to survive whilst the 2nd group does. Seeing such a youngster all skin & bones is devastating & I just cannot see how people can easily ignore and continue this cycle of poverty. Its not just North Africa but Asia, Pacific Islands & South America. The G8's focus was to be in helping stop poverty but when the London Bombings occurred despite this being such a shocking event, the focus of the G8's suddenly switched to the Terrorist situation. These people are faced with a slow gradual death from hunger & disease that could be resolved if the world's wealth was distributed more fairly. If I was a fundamental Christian I would be blaming it on Adam & Eve, Temptation, Eat the apple.... pay the price, the snake was the devil. However the bible does set the example of being a "Good Samaritan", I'm reliving my Seven Day Adventist school days. Recently I would to Fiji, these people had to do work manually including the sugar cane burning because they could not afford the machinery required. At the resort I was staying at there was Milk Powder, which you would associate with a "Third World Country".. Anonymous complained about this, as it was not Real Milk. I was saddened by this because these people cannot afford this yet the ones better off from other countries can complain just over something they would expect every accommodation place to have. It’s selfish & does Anonymous even think "Hey maybe I could help these people by giving an donation to World Vision towards developing the country". People found giving something of theirs to someone else is just rather hard, of course you earned it but seriously if your got a roof over your head & live a rather stable life, you should be able to improve other countries by giving a donation the amount being depended by your financial status. The models, in my opinion would be more beautiful if they gained some weight. Models are showcased to the world in doing so these models would be sending wrong messages to the younger girls; most probably wanting to be a model being at their age.
There was a movie exactly/similar to the one you described on TV last Sunday: Sex Traffic, its disgusting enforced prostitution & the girls had to lie about their age as their real age was too old so they would knock a year off. This is happening though & I become more of a feminist as men seem to take the advantage. OK I think I will stop but Maximus your entry had an impact on me. Take care & Peace
