London and whatnot
So London was amazing. So was Bath, Winsley, Brighton, etc.
I miss it actually. I think it finally hit me when me and Adrian tried to get a little bit at Tex Mex when the guy carded us and I couldn't get in cause I didn't have proper ID. What the fuck? First of all if I wanted a drink I could've had one in my own home or at Adrians. Second of all I just wanted fucking mexican food. What an asshole jerk. It's not even a BAR It's a fucking resturant. I don't think they have proper paper work for them to be able to do that. So we might write to a few people :)
But it's just so weird that I can't do the stuff I did back in London cause it's ILLEGAL in this stupid country. I could go into a pub and order a beer without people asking me for ID. And I could gamble. It's just find it weird now how America is off from everybody else...not just with this but with everything. Although I must admit our past and present authorities are, as you say, not the brightest crayon in the box.
But now that I realize it its interesting. It's interesting to realize how the youth of america would be different if it was okay to drink. Most of them do it because they know its illegal anyway right? But, then again, You can't drink out in London past 11 (apparently some stupid rule since before one of the world wars) that said, possibly in a more eloquent form, "Hey if they can't drink late they'll get a good nights sleep and won't have a hangover in the morning!" WRONG. Everyone over there binges during the last hour trying to get in all they can drink before the bell sounds and no one else is allowed to be served. So yes...I guess every country has their stupid laws. Only ours goes beyond stupid laws.
I'm not saying this just because I want to drink. I can drink. I do drink. It's just the fact that I can't go to places to see lengendary artists because it's 21+ and I can't go and relax and watch a movie at the troc because I'm not 21+

As Adrian says, "If you're allowed to join the army. You should be allowed to drink." Alongside other things too.
Completely and utterly ridiculous. And tonight I will try to get into another 21+ place. Hopefully they're lenient like Shannon told me. If they're not then I'll probably write "FUCK!!!" real big as an entry when I get home.
