Yes, finally caught up with this chapter! Sorry for the long delay, I had decided to rush the Junjou Romantica act 31 summary, and then had to leave this since I had exams after that. ^^;; So without further ado let's go~!
DO NOT CLAIM AS YOUR OWN!
I've
tweeted this, and put it on
my tumblr as well. Feel free to do the same~!
So, we start off the chapter with fellow students chattering about what is so scary. Makimura, Akimoto, Satou and Yoshida are together. Makimura asks if they've heard about it, and suggests they should investigate further the mystery of a girls' cries and also some of the curses around in school written in blood.
The response? Yoshida replies, "Ahhhhhh--- I can't hear you~"
Satou puts on his Sadistic Me and bullies Yoshida with words like "evil spirits" and all that and teases him about it.
Makimura then goes on about how this is a "test of courage" which Akimoto is curious why Makimura is so interested in this. Obviously, Makimura's doing this because the head of student council has voiced her views about it - "if only if someone would investigate this!". So Makimura tells Satou to grab onto Yoshida and not let him run away despite poor Yoshida's protests.
So Akimoto and Makimura talk about it as people hear sounds coming from an empty classroom, all the while Yoshida hiding behind Satou saying he can't hear anything. They go and investigate, and they did hear a girl's voice. Satou obviously isn't afraid of anything at all, and the door opens to reveal a normal human girl. Makimura at this point exclaims that "the ghost is afraid of Satou" when she hides behind the door. (LOL Makimura you fail to understand that perhaps even ghosts, if she was a real one, would end up falling for Satou anyway.)
Apparently, it turns out that the rumor about a girl's cries was he fault, and all she was doing was practicing on how to speak to Satou. So Satou comments to Yoshida that isn't it good that there aren't any ghosts around, and it turns out Yoshida's passed out, the other two telling him to get a grip.
Yoshida's shaking and has had enough of this investigation, and Satou all the while is actually getting very hyped up, saying to investigate the issue with the bloody writings next, all of them completely ignoring poor Yoshida. Akimoto tries to assure him that it'll be fine like what they found out earlier. Makimura gets all dramatic and asks Yoshida if he'll be fine with living like a scaredy cat for the rest of his life, and asks him to put in effort in conquering the fear. (You're one to speak when you also got scared just now...?)
Satou then leans forward and simply says, "If you say you want to go home no matter what, I'll tie you up and bring you with me."
...
Soooo that shuts poor Yoshida up and they carry on with the bloody writing issue. Makimura raises the question like what the bloody writings are for, all the while with Yoshida behind Satou repeating "Scary~ Scary~" and Satou finding it cute. Makimura doesn't find it the least bit cute and chides Yoshida for it, and comments that Yoshida repeating "scary" is making him feel a little scared too.
Suddenly, Makimura has a good plan! ...or so we think. He says that if anyone says "scary!" from now on, they'll have to say the name of the girl they like. Yoshida is unimpressed and Akimoto agrees (though tbh he's going to be happy thinking about it xD) while Satou says he doesn't mind, earning a look from Yoshida. Yoshida then has a bad feeling about this 'plan' Makimura's come up with, and Akimoto reassures that as long as he didn't say "scary" it would be fine.
And they did find writing in blood, Japanese character 'shi'. The first ones to say "scary" though is Akimoto and Makimura himself. Needless to say, they both admit they like Youko-chan and Machiko respectively. Then they try to convince Yoshida to look at the writing.
He does see it but is unable to complete his sentence or say anything, just "Sca--" and nothing more while Makimura urges him to say it. In the end he's so burned out he couldn't even say it, and he just wants to go home and the school's getting quieter too.
And then, Satou says, "You want to go home by yourself?"
.......Well, onslaught of tears. But Satou assures him that he can remain stuck to Satou's back.
They move on, and they find the next character 'ko'. Makimura wonders if there's any meaning to all of these, and Akimoto comments that the first character 'shi' likely stands for "death". They wonder why it's in hiragana (all of them). And then they find 'u', 'sa' and 'tsu'. And Satou comments about strangling ('kousatsu') in relation to death, saying it's "scary".
And Makimura turns around, points at him and says that he's said "scary" and he'll have to say who he likes. Satou looks sheepish and DOES try to say it except Yoshida interjects by saying "Stu~pid!" twice, voice louder than Satou's. Makimura complains that Yoshida's got in the way and Akimoto realizes that Yoshida was actually listening to them. He says he's listening since he's got a bad feeling about this, and Akimoto wonders if he knows about who Satou likes.
But apparently he hasn't been listening to the previous bits, and so once Satou mentions "death" and "strangling", poor Yoshida faints. Makimura isn't satisfied with Satou's answer and starts going off with random names that start with "Yoshi". Then a random girl walks by and overhears them, thinking that one of the names is the girl that Satou likes. She drops a bottle of liquid.
They realize it's the liquid used to write those bloody curses. Apparently she...
Was trying to make that into a good luck charm that helps her love life, by writing her name and the one she loves. She did that by writing them in hiragana using the squeezed juice of strawberries. (Oh you girls, I know what you're thinking now. NO.) She apologizes to Satou, and the fact that he already has a girlfriend. She asks how it is, having a girlfriend.
And he replies, "Especially cute, and I cannot help but feel like I'm having fun every day by being horribly sadistic heh heh."
In the end, Yoshida finally wakes up and wonders why, while Satou says he intends to carry him all the way home like this if he didn't wake up.
THE END~ That's all, hope you enjoyed. I wasn't especially happy nor disappointed, but I felt Tanaka-sensei might've had more to say with regards to Satou and Yoshida's relationship. I'd like to...see more next chapter, sensei! ; _ ; If you have any questions etc you want to ask just go ahead, I don't mind!
Anyway, since I'm too lazy to do this in another post, just reporting in with regards to my exchange to Japan and stuffs. I've finally got my medicals done today, all at one go too! But what the hell it cost me £110. Um, back at home it would've cost me a lot less, and with about the same speed too. This is kind of...ridiculous, really. But wait MONEY?! THIS IS APPLICABLE:
ANYWAY I did my weight and height today, and guess what I FREAKIN' LOST WEIGHT. I'm so happy! I am now 50kg (which is probably maybe around 51kg it's not electronic). When I came here I think I was around 55kg, so omg I've lost 5kg in England over a spread of 8 months. It's good for me! I need to continue losing it to the ideal of about 47kg or so. The funny thing is I've increased meat intake since I got here. Could it be because I've increased walking since I walk about 20 minutes to uni every day? In any case, this is great for me, I just need to lose more.
Then the doctor I saw today was actually hot in his own way. The older man kind of hot. But had a good person feel to him. And he called for me with regards to the chest x-ray I needed to do and asked for the number to the hospital for me. And he was speaking through the phone and asked me if I needed booking for appointment and with regards to timing, and he replied through the phone...
"No, she's very flexible."
FUCK WHY BRAIN WHY MUST YOU BE SO DIRTY. IS IT BECAUSE OF ALL THAT GINTAMA? DAMN YOU BRAIN. Now, f-list, I can understand why you all will want to un-friend me for reasons because of how obscenely dirty I am or friend me for the dirtiest reasons. Dirty people mix together, y'know.
But yes, that aside, I have managed to fill in a good bit of my forms and they'll be sent off this week Friday. My medicals won't be able to make it, likely, so never mind the people there have given me an okay to submit it slightly later, if it does end up becoming late. Ahhh JAPAN I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO BEING ONE WITH YOU. Not in a dirty way. Oh goddamnit damn you Gintama, damn you.
Also, layout change~ Like it? Like my banner? ;D I find the banner nice~ Decided to try a bit of uh crappyshopping myself. xD;;
