And wooo, I'm back! So this means translations and easter fun. So I present you just a bit of food!pr0n and uh, I dunno. Click to see. :D And below is another evening sky I caught when walking back from uni to home :D
I dunno but somehow this seemed to catch my attention - how the light is in the center and the rest of the clouds seemed to be hiding something. I love skies, did I tell you that? Oh that reminds me all those Europe trip photos that I haven't finished posting... Gotta get down to them when I return home!
Haha above is the noodles I promised I'd show you. I made like, I think 2 packs of noodles together so I separated them into 4 meals. Epic, aren't I? ;D MY GAWD THEY WERE TASTY OKAY. I managed to reproduce about 85% of how my mom used to do it, so I'm quite proud of myself!
...Except the soy sauce tasted funny so that lost some points there. Otherwise, I'd treat you all to this. :D This is the only one I feel is presentable and for everyone to eat.
So during my hiatus, I decided I'd made fried rice all over again because I can. \o/ And I bought the ingredients to fry it.
My fried rice this time is even healthier than before:
Broccoli
Long beans
Carrots
Eggs
Rice
Soy sauce, salt, sugar
1. (didn't take picture but pff) Fry dem EGGS. Use a little soy sauce to make it taste nicer! Fry just a bit and when they just become solidified, take them out.
2. Dump your broccoli and long beans in as these take a little longer to cook, soften them up.
3. Next, carrots. Then add just a little soy sauce as well to make them smell nice~
4. Dump your rice in! My rice looked like this because I don't have a rice cooker (OMG AN ASIAN WHO DOESN'T HAVE A FUCKING RICE COOKER IS EQUIVALENT TO BLASPHEMY I'm kidding) 'cause I had no idea I had wanted to shift away from my old accommodation so much I still owe you all photos, I know so I didn't buy one.
The rice, btw, is from this particular one:
It's actually pretty good, except you know in order to keep it the way it is they put oil in it so... it's a little oily but for me it's edible. I can't complain. They also have basmati, pilau and other types as well. So yeah, you can see why the shape is like that... :'D I microwaved it beforehand to soften it.
5. Fry the rice thoroughly, this time adding salt and more soy sauce (which gives it the brownish color) and a bit of sugar.
6. Then dump your eggs in and all is good!
Remember how I told you about the chili padi? GOOD LORD and yes I'm going to go buy it again. I'm seriously a Singaporean through and through - I love chili, I cannot ignore it. I will die if I have no chili. I love spicy food. ;w;
So remember I love cheezy cheese? Haha random, but I bought this Morrison's Savers cheese, and wtf it tastes as good as any other cheese. It was only for £2.18 so why not? :D I also bought a ready-made curry sauce. Gonna probably buy some lady fingers (and maybe long beans) and make it all together. Will taste good. \o/
4:47 - 4:50 is one really REALLY crazed it's creepy... LOL. It's so scary. :'D But I love how she started off the whole gig. And her dancers, my GAWD. Epic dancers. The energyyyy! Love Game - I disapprove of the lyrics in some ways, but the beat's good. Oh well, for me it's usually beat > lyrics, unless the two of them blend in so well?
Then I got led to this video:
Points raised to be discussed, if all of you so wish to, either here or at the chatroom (now, I mean since I'm free):
1. "What's she gonna look like when she dies?" - This. Quite true. Lol, she knows this well.
2. Throwing away one's name and adapting a new one - how much of a change is that possible?
3. She said that every artists' failure is lying, do you agree with that? Is it good to be honest, then?
4. Her "uplifting" messages - real or fake?
