All of them are good. And I can tell you, they're good! Watched them when bro came over with his wife. May contain some spoilers for some, but kind of expected, in certain cases.
Wild Target
It's...hilarious. We all agreed, it's hilarious. It's a fun ride through the entire movie, there's funny lines exchanged, there's Rupert Grint being a 'natural' and 'apprentice' of an assassin. There's...coolness in it. I give it a rating of 9/10. It's good fun once in awhile. If you'll remember, the guy who plays Philip in Shaun of the Dead (where Nick Frost and Simon Pegg had to say "Sorry Philip" and bonk the guy hard on the head) is the main guy of Wild Target. It's straight out comedy and humor and good fun, which is really rather worth the watch and makes me smile!
127 Hours
This. This is just...how do you say. Some people may find it boring, but I find it utmost...compelling to continue watching to. It's based on a true story, Between a Rock and a Hard Place written by Aron Ralston. And he was going hiking when an accident happens - a rock fell and traps his hand between the rock itself and the wall beside. The problem was that he told no one where he went. So he kept waiting and waiting for help, but it's in the canyon which NO ONE would be around, obviously. A raven passes by every day and at the same time, he notes in the movie.
There are some events that switch back and forth as he recalls some of his past, and there are some things that his thoughts reveal in the movie. Generally, it's a rather nice look into the author himself. Then on the final day, he might have...woken up, and decided that no help will go to him if he keeps on going like this especially when he's out of food and water. So he does the most drastic action possible: he amputates off that arm that stops him from moving forward.
Of course, he did get saved in the end. Maybe I was able to watch on since this kind of reminded me about Stephen King's Survivor Type. I remembered King did write about him visiting a doctor and asking a question, "How much shock-trauma can a person take in order to survive?" This is definitely questioned here with the same experience this writer goes through.
The Social Network
Heard about the inaccuracies, but nevertheless we went ahead to watch it. Which, overall, didn't seem so bad. Except the only thing that will turn you off may be the technical computer terms - SSL encryption, Apache etc. If you don't know these, never heard of coding and stuff, maybe you won't enjoy it. And you definitely won't understand it. Again it's mainly about when Mark Zuckerberg was still in university where this Facebook thing is brought about. He's already considered quite the talent for being able to hack into Harvard's servers and generate so much traffic onto his website, called Facemash for 4 hours.
In any case, stuff happens, and the co-founder Eduardo Saverin is basically his really good friend, but shit happened along the way and somehow they aren't really friends anymore. Sadly. I swear there were moments of...special-ness between the two of them.
Still all 3 are good recs, so have a watch for all of them!
Thus, the above are my reasons for being unable to work on Koishite Daddy and End Game. :O Sorry cheezy! xD;;
