Oh hey, alliteration! *ahem* Well, I could call this a curious post or something as well. I was just wondering.

We're an entire social network of friends, you see. We're strangers since we technically don't know each other (ah, unless I know you in real life) besides maybe fandom interests and once in awhile stayed tuned to each other's real life, ( Read more... )

why do i have so much time?, lj, !rambling, people

xD;; Thank you~

Yeah, I dunno how some other people think/feel but I feel that sometimes when I read my friends page I do feel a tad bit weird seeing something missing. Especially those whom I chat with quite a bit.

(BTW it's a fail on my part I accidentally removed you from my f-list from that time when I was having a clean-up of my list. Damnit. *facepalms* Lemme go add you back...)

Yeah, sometimes you see someone actively posting, and you are getting along quite well and all of a sudden she disappears. Kinda odd... :\

XD I'm a bit like you. Been asked how I make friends easily (which was a weird question) and I didn't know how to answer when in truth I don't because I'm a quiet person. xD;; But leave comments everywhere whenever you like~ :D

When I don't see a new post from a friend I talk to/see posing regularly I always wonder what happened to them. I get really nervous if it's been after a long time since my mind always goes to the worse place for some reason. Especially if the site that we used is the only way I have to contact them and they just stopped logging on and you can tell how long it's been since it shows their last login date.

There a few people throughout the various site I go and those I use to talk to on a regular bases that I want to know where they are since they just disappeared. I'm trying to believe they are just super busy in real life or just outgrown the sites they use to hang out at but it's kind of hard to do so when you can't get any sort of confirmation.

^ this ...so true. I lost touch with a lot of people that way. It's worrying, and troubling to not know what's going on and that's the only way you had to stay in touch.

Exactly. :\ Especially it's when someone I've been talking to regularly, posting regularly, commenting regularly and then suddenly *poof!* it's just...like you know, posts stopped, comments also stopped...

Yeah it's true. But sometimes it'll be nice to get a note about it as well. :P

Yeah, of course not everyday if we get busy, sometimes we just have nothing to say... xD;; But maybe about more than a month where there's no news it does get a bit worrying...

XD LJ has its good things and bad things.

<33 Thank you.

That's something very deep to think about. If you would've asked this years earlier they would look at you weird and then say, "get some real friends."

But now a days the internet has opened so many doors and is a lot more common to befriend people online and find different from different age groups and cultures that are interested on things that at times you can't share with, well the friends you physical know....

so once you feel the connection with one and two and so on online friends, they become your friends... you just can't tease them and bully them in person xD

And yeah, I would question about what happened to so and so if I would stop seeing her(since most of my lj friends are girls xD) posts...

And this was a long post xD

I agree. The internet has enabled me to make some pretty lasting friendships. Especially with people of like mind who I might not be able to *squee* with or share certain parts of my personality with in person. Well, that is unless we somehow live nearby and manage to set up a time to hang out/meet. Then we'd squee and hug and be goofballs in person too. xD I think I got distracted again.

I can't believe you got this xD. NOw that I look at it I see many mistakes Dx! I should like proofread xD

YEah, same here... that's how I've meet new friends. Frankly even in rl I love to make friends from different cultures 'cause I love to learn about different backgrounds but to have the opportunit to learn even more through the internet is just amazing :)

Yeah, it is. Lots of people go, "Internet friends aren't real friends", but sometimes I do beg to differ. Not on all occasions is this true, but sometimes there are exceptions. :]

<33 Long posts are okay with me~
