The in the turn of the century a catchy tune called "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" was created by a Miami based group known as the Buckwheat Boyz. The song hit the internet accompanied by a dancing pixilated banana, to create videos like this.
In 2004 wrestler Alex Shelley (Fromally Patrick Martin) started his career with TNA Wrestling the fans made a chant for the prefomer (which btw he really hated) that went "Peanut Butter Shelley Time".
In 2004 Blizzard entertainment struck gold when they realeased their MMORPG World of Warcraft, in which the Males of the "Tauren" race have a dance that is based off the Peanut Butter Jelly Time video.
In November of 2005 a popular adult cartoon "Family Guy" featured the song when Brian performs Peanut butter jelly time for Peter in an attempt to cheer him up.
