NYC...

I just got back from NYC. Our hotel wasn't as nice as I thought it would be. It was ok though. Ok.. important stuff. I'll just describe each day.

Tuesday
We arrived at GRand Central Station at about 11:30 and walked yo Times Square and got lunch at Planet Hollywood. Then we went to the Broadway New York store just because it's an amazing store. They didn't have the Wicked hoodie I wanted though. So we walked around NYC for about 2-3 hours and then walked to the hotel to get our room and dropped off our junk. By the time we were done in the hotel it was 4:30 so we had to run over the this resturant, Becco's, to make our reservation. It was a good resturant, but that is not important. Anyway, after dinner we went to the Gershwin Theater. It was HUGE in there. So nice. We went upstairs and I got my Wicked Hoodie! It's so great =) Then we went to our seats which were front mezzanine right in the center.. perfect seats for Wicked. We really got to see the flying monkey things and the dragon very well. We could also see the stage which is even better, lol. It was an AMAZING show! The lighting was awesome, the affects were awesome, the story was awesome, the actors were all awesome! Kristen Chenoweth was so0o0o0o0o funny as Galinda! A little obnoxious just because perky people bother me, but hilarious. Idina Menzel, wow she was amazing as Elphaba. I really love their voices, they're so different. I thought Kristen and Idina worked very well together. After the show we got caught in the stage door crowd, but it was ok because Kristen signed my program. Then we went to the Roxy Deli place and we got food. Then we went back to our hotel room.

Wenesday
We went to the half ticket line and got tickets to Aida. Then we got lunch at this random, but good place. Then we walked all the way back to the theater to see the show (of course after going to the Broadway New York store again to buy a Hairspray shirt). The show was really awesome! At first I wasn't sure, but it get VERY good. The dance was amazing, the lighting was amazing, it was a great show! We didn't see DEbra Cox though, we saw her understudy. Then after the show we went and got dinner at this Irish place, i've never eaten irish food. Then we went to Broadway New York AGAIN, but on the way there I got this Hairspray Picture in a picture frame thingy. So at Broadway New York I bought a Wicked Poster and this theater mask bracelet, it's really cool! Then we had to catch our train home =(

Next time we go to NYC we're finally seeing Hairspray. I still have money left, I need to go to the mall.
