I had to make a bunch of phone calls this morning: medical insurance, dental insurance, doctors, all that stuff. I had to find out what was covered for wisdom teeth and physicals. I need a physical and TB test for Green Chimneys, but it turns out that they do it for free there, to thats good (lots of pointless phone calls though). Also, the dentist keeps bugging me to get my wisdom teeth removed, but i want to see what the oral surgeon thinks first. More complicated than it seems. I apparently dont have to worry about it until about Sept. though - the oral surgeon wont be able to tell me anything without a panoramic xray and insurance only covers 1 every 3 years (my three years is up in august apparently). So for all the calls I made and all the people I talked to, I got nothing accomplished.
Went to Green Chimneys this afternoon. Filled out more paper work for them. I start as a TA on Wednesday (yay!). It will be nice to have a routine again, despite having to wake up early every day. I have training all next week for TCI (therapeutic crisis intervention - basically, what to do if a kid freaks of, safe restraint methods). I also have a jury summons for next week :/ we'll see how that works out ... hopefully I will never get called in.
I also went to the post office and Chase. In the A&P parking lot, there was an old man sitting in a chair behind his car reading a newspaper and listening to his radio. I would assume he was waiting for his wife to finish shopping, but I don't really know. It amused me. Kind of getting annoyed with my banker lady at Chase - every time I go in she tells me I have really good questions, but can never answer them.
Tomorrow I need to call Marist about a few things and I have my rescheduled practice interview in Bedford. Hopefully I get farther than the end of my road this time.
I really hate applying for jobs. I always have, but this is different. This is applying for real, and really important, jobs. And I don't like it. At all. It's stressing me out.
