soooooooo.. the WBRU birthday bash was last night.. anyone familier with it? the used.. taking back sunday.. monty's fan club.. straylight run.. and the presidents of the united states all played and it FUCKING ROCKED.
i almost (almost) started crying when straylight run came on.. because i love them so much and it was my first time seeing them live after all this time. it's too bad though because although they are a great band.. they didnt seem hardcore enough for the concert. they are more of a slow song emo kind of band. but they were great anyway.
the used of course was awesome.. i got really into it.. i love the lead singer.. just for the fact that he can scream and still sound good. although i feel like their set was shorter than the rest of the bands.. and i was a little dissapointed. they also didn't play my favorite song (i caught fire(in your eyes)).. oh well.. i think they're going on tour soon so i'll have to go to the concert and hope they play it.
my chemical romance couldn't make it.. i was very upset even though i only know one of their songs.. i was looking forward to seeing them.
i also went crowd surfing during taking back sunday.. the first time was fun but the second time was a little scary... i was flying thru the air and i see my friend russ below me.. so i land on him and he thought it would be funny to see how far he could throw me back up.. i ended up flying right over the barrier and scraped my knee on some metal thing. no blood or anything so it's ok.. and the freaking bouncers are assholes.. they stand there smoking cigarettes as they scream at people and push them... and i mean PUSH them.. off the stage.
i didn't really do any moshing... i still get scared to get into one of those.. im always afraid ill fall down and get trampled.. i've seen it and it doesn't look like it feels too good. and those boys get so violent.. swinging their fists around and what not. def. not my thing.. maybe im just not hardcore enough.
my mom put candles in our windows today.. and i love them. i don't have to have any lights on in my room and it's the perfect lighting.. very relaxing.
ok i'm tired.. i've been driving around for 12 hours today.. going shopping.. going to eat.. going tanning.. going to the porn shop.. etc. im passing the fuck out...
