Top 20 Moments of the 2004-2005 CMU School Year
20 - Greek Volleyball Champs
It was awesome to see Phi Tau battle hard and keep our composure to win the greek volleyball championships. With the hard work from everyone and Pheel's killer spikes it was exciting to watch...HooRah!!!
19 - Football Class
There is nothing better than waking up to go to a class that discusses the game of football. It was the one class I looked forward to going to everyday and it was even more awesome cause Big Sean was in the class with me!
18 - Merrill Dining Commons
Another highlight was sneaking into the Merrill Hall Dining Commons with Tristan to get lunch after Chemistry Class. We'd call Dom while we were walking over there and he'd meet us down there for lunch each tuesday and thursday. Popcorn Chicken Wraps what?!?!
17 - Buck-fity Burgers
This Spring semester brought the weekly trip every wednesday to get $1.50 burgers at O'Kelly's. It was always a great time to sit and BS with Witz, Big Steve, Trumble, Ashley, Kurt, Havener, Tara, Doug and other stragglers that we managed to bring along! Just dont be ignorant with the waitress and you won't have a problem!
16 - China One
So China One is definatly Phi Tau Approved!! All the crazy ass times that we would go there and get some good ole oriental cookin! My conscience tells me when to go to the Uno as well as it does for others. There were so many good times at China One that I just had to wrap them all up into one topic!
15 - D-Phi-E Semi-Formal & Formal
I was invited to attend both the Delta Phi Epsilon Semi-Formal in the Fall and Formal in the spring. I had a great time at both of them as I had hella cool dates. The highlight of these events definatly had to be walking the 18th hole with the fella's with a bottle of champagne in my hands drinkin the whole way!
14 - Casino Stories
You gotta love drunk people, not just because i am that way sometimes, but because when i am at work I come home with the funniest stories ever. Like the girl who wanted it in the back door, or the girl who confessed her love to me, or the lady who asked me to marry her, or the mom who was trying to hook me up with her daughter, or the guy who was trying to get in the pants of the girl across the table from her(dont think i mentioned that one to anyone), or the guy who was so drunk he actually got cut off at the casino, or the guy who tipped me almost $1500.00 in one night. Man I love my job, and you should too for all the humorous stories you get to hear when I actually go to work!
13 - Serenading
I really didnt care all that much for greek week although we did have the coolest greek week partners! However, my favorite part of the whole thing was going around to all the sororities to serenade them. I never would have thought for that to be so much fun, but it was a blast and I cant wait to do it again next year!
12 - Getting a Lil Sister
I was asked in the fall to be a Big Brother to a new Deepher. I graciously accepted the offer and met my Lil Sis Lindsay. And let me tell ya she's one cool cat! Im still learning on the job at this Big Bro thing, but I think I am starting to get a hang of what to do!
11 - Greek Softball Champs
What an exciting time! Who would have thought that in the same night the Boston Red Sox would win the World Series, there would be an eclipse, and Gamma Lambda Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau would win the greek softball championship. After being down by 9 runs in the last inning of play, we came back to score 11 runs in the bottom half of the inning to win the title. Wow, I get goosebumps thinking about it again...man that was exciting!
