Both sides of the brain

I don't understand why people aren't more understanding of each other. It's obvious why people do what they do in terms of general behaviour.

There are the introverted ones who use mostly the left hemisphere of their brains, and then the extraverted ones who use the right hemisphere of their brains.

People should understand that left-sided (in the head) means that they are more logical and rational, they concentrate more on the past and future, they are crazy planners, they tend to think that they are the only ones who are the most capable and dependable, and they depend on no one as a result. GOOD LUCK working in groups with this kind of person.

The right-sided people are vice versa... don't want to go into so much detail.

What's my reason for writing this? Venting and preventing an early explosion from someone. I'm in a group this semester with a left-headed girl and she's driving me nuts because I keep dealing with her being so controlling and just ignoring it so that I can get the work done and not have to think about it. I'm sure I'm not the only person in my group who's going insane, but if something's not done about it... It's going to be a bad outbreak and burst of frustration that will destroy the group. What's bothering me about this though is that she won't actually work together with the group. She assumes leadership role even when it's not assigned to her, she demands work to done asap, she never thinks anything is good enough, and she's basically being a one-person group with the other group members chipping in really small parts because no matter how much quality work is contributed, she will redo or reword, and then COMPLAIN about herself doing ALL the work.

Why the hell can't people be more understanding of both sides? I've tried talking to her and explaining that she needs to give people a chance because every group member in the group I'm in is an A or A+ student from first year. She thinks it's too much of a risk because. I've tried helping her understand the other side as well as telling her she's putting too much stress on herself and that she should occasionally go out and have fun, do what she likes... but no, she has to shut that idea down saying there's always work to be done and that she has no time to do other activities besides school and work.

What the fuck.

Here's another way of putting it. She is a prime example of how people have become a pawn... a peon... driven by society. Society, we talk about freedom but it's not actually freedom, it's just being more lenient and less controlling of the rules and set guidelines we have molded ourselves over the years on how we should live. We give value to pieces of paper with numbers printed on them and we work hard for those pieces of paper? It's just a symbol, this society, this world even, is flawed. We live according to rules and what WE think is right and wrong. We go to war and we say it's for our country but war is violence and violence solves nothing, it's just temporary satisfaction. Sooner or later, we are going to kill ourselves. People should not be completely controlled by corporations, government, and pieces of paper. Find something you love doing, find your passion, find yourself, find Him, escape from all this once in awhile rather than jumping right into the middle of everything that's going on in the world. Stress relief.
