State Championship
Today was the state championship.
As a Team we did SHITTY. but individually I did pretty good.
I finished top 8 and got to shoot in the finals. I finished 6th in the state championship missing 3rd place by .6 of a point. I was pissed.
I also earned the award of All-State. All-state is the top overall averages of your entires season in the state of Georgia. I ranked 2nd.
Hopefully Jacksonville will see what i've done and he will offer me some kind of scholarship or relief from the cost of school and equipment.
If I want to shoot for college, I will have to buy a 22 rifle. They cost about 3,200$ plus equiptment which is 1,500$; a suit being custom fit, kneeling roll, prone mat, and sling. I hopeing Jacksonville can help me out on any of this.. if they can't It doesn't really look like i'll be shooting anymore.
There is one last match coming up. I thought the state championship was going to be the last but the NRA is having a recruiting match the 23. The same day as prom. I'm going to try and fit both in. If you shoot good then you could get on their traveling team and fire all around the nation and internationally on their expense.
