the hits keep on coming
2021's ugly side strikes again. Today Jason's oldest sister passed away after a head-on collision on the windy back roads of South Carolina. She was in her late 50's. I didn't know her super well, but she opened up her home to us when Jason's mom was very sick in the hospital a few years ago. And she was a fellow accountant and controller so I felt an affinity with her. I think she may have actually been on a work-related trip when this happened. The company she worked for had some hotel resorts in Hilton Head, and she was often traveling down there. I feel so sad for her husband, kids and grand-kids. They were a very close-knit family, and they are completely blind-sided and devastated by this. Right before the holidays too. :(
