Fresh pot of tea...

I have to say that this past weekend in Buffalo has rejuvenated me. I feel refreshed and genuinely happy. Spending time with the one you love does that to you. I am a lot less stressed out about things and I have become more productive this week. For example, I read all of Macbeth in one night. It is not a long play, but still I'm proud of myself. I have to read Paradise Lost which is a little less exciting to read, but we'll see how that goes. Today was a nice warm day and I liked it. Happy people like me tend to dance all over the apartment listening to Britney Spears. Yes, I really did and I really am that awesome. Do you know whats great? Poems! I read this poem by Billy Collins called "Purity" and it is brilliant. Go read it if you want inspiration for words. On the bus today I was listening to Taking Back Sunday and I was thinking I really need a TBS poster. I was also thinking I need a new watch with floating rhinestones in it. Should start saving for that. Anyway, as this entry is getting progressively less interesting I'll leave you with the first stanza of the poem I mentioned:

My favorite time to write is in the late afternoon,
weekdays, particularly Wednesdays.
This is how I go about it:
I take a fresh pot of tea into my study and close the door.
Then I remove my clothes and leave them in a pile
as if I had melted to death and my legacy consisted of only
a white shirt, a pair of pants and a pot of cold tea.
-Billy Collins

Go read the rest of it!
