Maybe there's no rainbow

A lot has happened since my last post.  The moment came up and I proposed to Lindsay, she accepted and we had a party the other night.  Ryan was the only one of my friends to show up even a lot of people said that they would come.  My house was filled and I was the only non-band geek, it was creepy.  So i have had thins eye infection, it cleared up with some drops and I figured that all was good.  I had been having some pain behind my left ear but ignored it like I do.  So the pain gets worse steadily until Tuesday I notice that I have a big assed lump on my jaw.  So yesterday I finally acquiesced and went to the doc.  They think it is a lymph node infection and put me on antibiotics and told me to come back when they were done and if there was still a lump there are going to biopsy it to check for cancer.  Lindsay way freaked out.  It hurts like a sonofabitch to talk, eat, and kiss.  *sad face*  The meds are tearing me apart.  my stomach was already sensitive but 1,000 mg of biaxin is fucking rough.  I had one hell of a terrible nightmare last night.

I was floating, listless, in water surrounded by people that I work with
I was staring at the sky following the cluods when I saw a plane followed by several passenger vans flying as well.  They had Fairmont State written on them.  I remarked on how low they were when two of them began to crash.  I had to move fast to keep from being flattened.  We all started running to the wreckage.  There was a woman driving the first van that I came too- she was fine just a bit shaken up.  Dawn was taking care of her when I saw my boss, Cindie, walking to the other van.  I could see red sprayed across the windshield.  I heard her gasp and I told her I would take care of them to come over there.  I instructed her to call 911 and call for Kim.  Kim is a nurse she could help me, I wasn't the only one already tainted by blood and gore before.  I opened the drivers side door that was sprayed with blood as well with an arm leaning against it.  I could smell the copper of the blood, the smell of a slaughterhouse.  A man and wife still buckled in, gore soaked, bleeding, unconscious.  Their children were still alive in the backseat.  I unbuckled them and pulled the man out he had some signs of life but there was no hope.  I climbed through the warm blood to get to the kids, to save them, even though I knew they couldn't be the same after seeing their parents like that.  When I got to them the cringed away from me.  I looked like a monster.  It was as if I had been splashed with red paint.  i woke up as I reached for them.

I didn't need anymore memories like this.  I didn't need to wake up with the taste of blood in my mouth.
