i was feelin like a jerk a couple weeks ago. not so much now. i'd have to say i'm very happy with EVERYTHING i'm doing right now. my grades could be a smidge higher, but hopefully by the end of the grading period, they will be. i guess B's aren't that big a deal, but i would just like A's. we'll see. i'm stressing out a little bit about Roosevelt. i sent in my PNC transcripts today so i should know within a couple weeks whether or not i've been accepted there. i think i'd really like living in chicago a lot, let alone studying music in chicago at a school with a world class teaching staff, dorm rooms 3 times the size of mine, living in the same town as my super duper GF, and still only being a short trainride away from all of the people i love and care about. i'm gonna go bust my ass on some homework in an attempt to rally those aforementioned B's up to A's.
ps - beach football tonight, washington park, 7:30. i heard the weather is supposed to suck dick for a couple days after this, but then get nice PERMANENTLY. until late next fall that is.
pps - i really liked being at/playing at the bibo CD release show the other night. i'm not as senslessly opposed to java jims as a lot of people are right now, but it's sure nice to play somewhere else and be at a REAL show. not that jim's shows arent' REAL, but you know. whatever.
