Project Konsui
I posted this in my xanga, but then I figured I would let you beautiful livejournal people be able to comment. So here it is, the original post.
So awfully bored right now. And then I remembered, my manga idea I wanted to share with you guys. Please read this and give feedback. I could really use it since i've been working on this idea for oh....about 2 years now and i'm about ready to scape it. But I really want to know, did I waste 2 years on a bunch of garbage or do I actually have something here that I should perfect a little more? Oh, and on another note, I haven't really came up with names for any of the characters since i'm horrible with names and still searching for them so the names I use are not perminant. An addition note, some research will be needed for this and well none has been done so if it sounds stupid and unreasonable, that's probably why.
After the death of the parents of the children, Maria and Chizuna, Maria being so young and heartbroken of the lost runs away. At least, that's what everyone thought happen when really she was lured away by some jester type looking thing promising her her parents. She accepted only to be lead into a watery trap. She fell into a river during her trance and couldn't swim, nearly drowning she was found just in time unconscience. After that she fell into a coma.
It was all a dream, all a dream, no a nightmare. The same nightmare of her sister's accident that she's been having for 7 years. Today was the day it all happen, 7 years ago....The phone was yelling at Cheza to wake up already. It was the hospital...telling her that Maria had shown some signs of awakening for her deep slumber. Cheza rushed to the hospital to find her sister sitting up and everything as if it never happen. But, it didn't seem like her, her stare, it was so empty. For the next few days, the doctors watched in amazement of her fast recovery but Cheza was worried. Her sister had spoken of strange things, one day she predicted the death dates of the patients around her, one was to die in just a few days. She also drawn grotesque images of creatures and a place that looked familiar to their area only broken down. Days later she while with Maria, she said it was time, the little boy who she predicted the death to heart meter stopped. Doctors rushed in trying to save him and after watching in the fear that her sister was right she turned around only to find her sister's hospital bed empty. She ran into the hallway, to see a tall dark monster looking image carrying away her sister. Chasing after it, screaming for the return of her sister, she slipped and knocked herself out. When she awoke, she found herself in a church like place with a small child wearing a cloak and a mask. The child pleaded for her aid in regaining the peace and happiness to their land. To vanquish the evil being who made all the inhabitants life a living hell. And that her sister was in grave danger if Cheza didn't do it sooner. Not having much of a choice, she accepted and set out.
Now, okay, she becomes all warrior like and works up to the evil being. But what she doesn't know (and you guys aren't suppose to know but oh well) that this evil being is her sister in an older form. She's in her sister little imaginary world, a very freakish nightmare fairytale fantasy type place.
Gah! That sounded better in my head but eh, oh well, i'm giving it a shot. Be honest, does it suck or what? And if so, give me reasons as to why. Or suggestions as to how I can make it better, that would be spiffy too, it's all up to you guys and what you think now. *nods*
Edit: Okay, already someone has told me to go into details about the characters and settings and this I will do. I'm still developing all of that (hello, if i'm still working on the names then yeah...) But as soon as I have all of that down, i'll post it here. Maybe even put some pictures up considering this is for a manga, as in i'm going to have to have images sometime soon. What you just read was an outline of the story. Get your feet a little wet. So yeah, this isn't all everyone.
