Two Wednesdays ago I successfully moved into my new Savannah abode. It is perfect. I really enjoy living here. It took a while to get everything in place and looking clean. This place was a dump when we showed up. The porch has these two ratty looking couches on it that the previous tenant is supposed to pick up, but who knows. My room is still a shambles. We forgot my desk when we moved down here so I don’t have places to put a lot of my things…so I just kind of pretend my room isn’t a mess. But it toootally is. Whatever, I’m usually in the living room most of the time.
Shannon and Catie have since moved in and our living room looks dope. Shannon brought two over size couches, plus the couch left in our apartment, so now the room is stuffed with furniture. it's amazing.
The other night, my friend Tom was coming over and when he got to our porch he saw some older black man sitting on one of the couches saying that he’s going to rent this place. We assured him that it was indeed rented to us already, and we were sorry. Apparently the guy who was painting the house needed some help and saw him down on the street and told him that if he helped him move some shit he would let him rent the place and to come back on Wednesday night…hahah what the fuck. That guy got sooo scammed. We gave him two dollars for the bus and he left. So, he came back AGAIN last night. He was riding this really nice street bike, which probably wasn’t his…if you get what I’m saying. He wanted a cup of ice, which we had none of, so we gave him three cold water bottles. He kept coming back so we finally tell him to go the fuck away. Once he tried to come inside. I nearly flipped a shit. I was practically screaming at him to get the hell out. Elliott told him he couldn't come back anymore...but he does. I'll cry if i see him again. seriously. it's scary. i can't wait to get my dog so she'll rip his head off. or scare the crap out of him.
But other than that, Savannah is great. I got a job at Wild Wing Cafe in city market. I work as a hostess. It really isn't that bad. i Actually like it. I seat people, buss tables, and take over the phone to go orders. It keeps me busy, and that's what's important. my old jobs never kept my interest at all. i was always watching the clock waiting for something to happen...at wild wing, there is always something to do.
I really need to ride around Savannah and see how long it takes to get everywhere…just for reference.
The other morning I made elliott pancakes, I think he was stunned…considering I don’t know how to cook that many things. I think he appreciated it, I couldn’t tell. It was awkward but good at the same time.
Rod Stewart tonight, what what. i'm stoked. hopefully it won't get rained out. i would cry.
