(no subject)
today was most fun.
Okay, we got to go into boston with the boston globe art show. We got on the busses, counted off numbers, and drove down to boston. Bryan and I played the letters game and he beat me. /whimpers/
Just kidding.
Then we played the country game but gave up 'cause it was too hard.
Once we got into boston, we pulled up to the place where the show was, only to find that there were two firetrucks and some cop cars outside, with their lights on. And a mass of people evacuated outside. Turns out there was a fire/toxic fumes (?).
So we were told to leave and come back later, so we drove down to newberry street, and they cut us loose. First we just wandered, before bryan and I tried to grab something to eat at Steve's greek/american cusine. Only, it was a sit down restaurant, and we didn't feel like spending the time sitting. So we went across the street, grabbed some food at dunkin' donuts. I ate a blueberry muffin, bryan had a donut. Then I took my latte outside, and we wandered around somemore until ten o'clock, when the original newberry comics opened. We chilled in there, I bought three CDs, totalling 35 dollars. (^-^):

-Bright Eyes, I'm wide awake, it's morning
-The Decemberists
Both Cds are awesome. Bryan got a monkeys CD.
Sooo, then we ventured up and down the streets for a little while, went into some shops.
We went backkkkk to the bus, drove back to the gallery. It was actually open this time.
So we ventured inside, this man talked to us. There were 3,500 entries total to the boston globe art show, 300 silver keys were given out, 150 gold. I got a silver. <3
At first I was dissappointed (I wanted GOLDDDD), but when I saw the displays, and the AMAZING WORK, I wasn't surprised I got silver. They were so effing good, detailed...just...wow. Bryan and I were like, "Why can't I have that much talent?????!!!???"
Mine was on display, it's looking pretty good. The people at the globe show mounted it, it's beautiful in it's little white frame cardboard thingy. I think I like it more, it's grown on me.
At any rate...
SO then, after the show, we went down to the food court thingy below the gallery, I got a salad with bryan, he bought it for me (I'm paying you back!!!!!) and it was delicious. We sat with Arom and billy sandore. Billy won silver key as well for his beautiful art metals ring!

we got back on the bus to head home, we played the letter game again and I won this time, by a long shot. <3 <3 <3 Bryan bought candy and shared it with me (Much love, bry!).
Best day ever.
We got back to teh school a half hour before classes ended, but Mrs. J was like "I'm not going to make you go back to class, just chill here." so we hung out in the art rooms, Mr. hardy visited. I heart mr. hardy. Best art teacher evaaaaa.
Today = best school day ever.
Oh, SAM Might come with me on sunday to the award ceremony. <3
