Hi everyone. I just wanted to announce that this afternoon we had to put my dog, Cleo, to sleep. (She's the one in my icon.) She had an inoperable cancerous tumor on the back of her tongue that had spread to her lungs. She was having treatment for the cancer, but she had barely eaten since Sunday and was not her usual perky self. We found out today that she was going through kidney failure; if we had waited any longer, she would have started suffering seriously this week.
My mom, my dad, and I were with her when they put her to sleep. She was wagging her tail to the end. Anyone who knew her knew how good-hearted she was, and I'm sorry if anyone didn't get to say goodbye. I say with only slight bias that she was the best dog in the world.
