Life is interesting sometimes. But then other times it can be really annoyingly confusing. But I like when it's interesting. It's those unexpected moments that I live for. That's odd because that's totally the opposite of how I am. I can only function on routine. So it's just strange that I live for the unpredictable moments of my life. Like, it's funny that you can be 150% sure of how you're going to feel about something but then a second later you can feel the exact opposite way. And it's funny how the moments you least expect are some of the most memorable. To me, it's those moments that make life fun and worth living.
I'm rambling.
Today was fun. I got up at 6:30 on my day off to get ready for the parades. Christina picked me up and we got to school around 7:45. Definitly too early. We went to Franklin Lakes and warmed up and did the parade and stuff and that was fun. The most annoying part was the ceremony at the end. We played the National Anthem with Hawthorne's band. I saw people I knew, even though I'm sure they didn't see me. Yeah I saw John and Amy. I didn't get a chance to say hi because MN was yelling at us to get on the busses. So I'm sorry if that came off as rude, I would have said hi if we had a second to but MN was being her usual nazi self. Although I'm sure neither of them saw me, which is almost better because me + sunburn + band uniform = not an attractive sight. Then we were whisked away to Wyckoff to do a second parade. It was fun, a little embarassing, but fun. Too many people. Especially Evil Junior. Evil Junior seeing me in band uniform = exactly the opposite of what I'd ever want to happen. Sometimes you just gotta love band. Then there's other times when you just want to break out your semi-automatic and shoot MN in the face. I'm so glad she'll be gone next year. I'll only miss ONE senior. That's it. The rest I'll be happy to see go. And the ONE senior isn't MO by the way. I'm going to miss Laura Fox because she's the only one who's been nice to me all season long. Plus, gym won't be the same without her. She's very cool, and I'll miss her and her inspirational speeches before competitions. The piccolo section was just the best this year. But anyway, the Wyckoff parade was looong and hot and annoying. Then we went back to school, I kept my uniform and I went home to change for Ashley's. Swimming was fun. The hot tub was wayyy too hot. Hopefully my burn will subside by next week so I can stick more than one toe in. Oh, and I love food. My sunburn is itchy. That's my cue to apply more aloe.
