last night we went to the bar around the corner that has one dollar pbr's i drank too many of them. right now im moving really slowly. look at how this entry and my last lj entry were both chemically induced...bad sign i suppose. but really ive sort of been taking it easy around here lately, last night was a break from my usual. the night started out really great though, after i dropped the dreamboat off at work i stopped at a corner store and got two small bags of ZAPPS (the best goddamn potato chips on the planet, hollee shit, last night i got hotter n hot jalapeno and cajun crawtator, both vegan) and a 16 ounce of miller high life, the champagne of beers, don't you know. and then i road my bike home while drinking beer and eating potato chips, and no the beer wasn't in a brown paper bag. i don't really know how im going to readjust to not being able to drink wherever whenever, it really is pretty fun i gotta say. in general im really going to miss new orleans. im not going to miss the fucking gigantic palmetto bugs or the ridiculous lack of personal space (even though i don't actually mind that so much) but i am going to miss this beautiful city and the beautiful people in it. for easter me and the dreamboat were in the gay easter bonnet competition/ bar crawl. we made giant easter bonnets out of these funny fold up things that you use to cover up your windshield if you aren't going to be in your car for awhile. if i was on my computer right now i would post a picture. we made friends with all the local fags from the marigny, which is the hipster/gay neighborhood. the next day after the gay easter bonnet parade, when we went to the local gay bar, the friendly bar(yup thats right)we got beer bought for us by our new friends in the neighborhood. oh yeah thats right there's a gay easter parade, its on bourbon street, its ridiculous, we got beads. getting excited about going to alaska, did you get my plea for a mix? if not you should make me a mix, i would be so excited, its a long drive to alaska, and then from alaska to albany. but i think its going to be nothing but fun.
