a change in me...
ladies and gents,
i've been toying with the idea for a long time...but I finally know what I want in life.
As of Fall 2007, my major will no longer be Musical Theater. I will become a double major in English/Theater Education and take a minor in Linguistics. After that, who knows?
I was teasing myself, saying "oh, if this semester isn't different, i'm gone..."and then i would hang around and let myself get hurt again. i fell deeper and deeper into the mess...and now, i'm finally going to stand up for myself and not be upset anymore. being a musical theater major offers me hardly enough challenge i realize. the coursework is no longer holding my interest and i find myself no longer believing that i can "make it" in theater. plus, i feel like it's a waste of my time due to the lack of caring on the part of dana school of music. but whatever.
it's time for a healthy shift.
i'll miss it.
