A few things on my mind...
1.) Starting on January 3rd, I will be moving in with my parents. Sort of. For student teaching, I was placed at my old high school, which is an hour and a half away from where I'm currently living. So, to save gas money and allow me to sleep in a bit more, I will be living with my parents during the week and coming home to Barrett on the weekends. It will be tough, but it's only for one semester.
2.) This Christmas I was spoiled rotten by my mother-in-law. She gave me several beautiful, expensive gifts, which I am so excited about. My current favorite (I can't seem to make up my mind) is this lovely area rug from Pier 1.
I wish I could find a larger picture of this rug on their website. However, this one will have to do, until I manage to take a picture of it in my living room. Let me tell you, it looks fancy.
3.) My computer is on the fritz. Right now, I'm typing this from Barrett's computer, while waiting for my Dad to tell me if it is fixable. Based on the problems I have been having, Dad thinks I might need a new motherboard. *Sigh*
4.) My parents are finally back from their 2 week trip to Europe! We're currently visiting them and catching up. They have so many fun stories about their trip and beautiful souvenirs to show off.
5.) I am obsessed with watching Barrett play The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, the video game I bought him for Christmas. The graphics are so realistic and the storyline is really interesting!
