Okay, so it was a good weekend, if short and im still a bit wonky. Don't feel like the weekend was necessarily exciting enough to talk about to ya'll, but I like recording for posterity and you're reading my lj so obviously you're willing to. And after the weekend update there's much randomness. (I can't LJ cut from work because I don't have my client here but maybe I'll fix it later.)
Friday night I thought I had plans with Jason, but then he was out of town because that's this weekend. Steph rescued me and took me to a Spin Camp party where there was food and gays good conversation and fire spinning. Not bad for last minute plans. Also I took a few minutes to spin with these LED poi and it was actually kind of fun to spin again. So fun I think I might hit the Enchanted Forest next Tuesday for their open practice.
Saturday I had to work so it was an early night on Friday. I worked, which was super slow but it allowed me to get through my GTD contexts all the way which I hadn't done since like February (which is why I'm at the office right now doing this because I want to keep up the good habits.)
Saturday night was Susan's birthday party. Very casual, but water and belly dancing and barbecue and good texting and again more good conversations. I considered heading to Tompound but by the time I did, it was already 1:30 and I was worried about the bikers so I thought I should wait it out. Then I was having fun again and didn't leave til around 3:30.
Sunday was a day of food and catching up when I had brunch with a dear friend and dinner with new friends. Yum on all counts. Also, I made a dripping springs commando run to get pants.
So randomness (like I said, I got through all my GTD stuff which includes web sites/videos I want to watch when I have time):

Photobooth pics are up from Flipside. I usually always take a pic and am sad I didn't get around to it this year. Won't make the same mistake next year if it's there.

This is a short film I really liked. Loses it's way a bit when it gets to the desert, but the small film feels intimate, and is a love letter to los angeles in ways that speak to me. Has some adult themes and is about 15 minutes long and you can't pause it so probably not a thing to watch at work.

Finally I will end this by saying that I did buy tickets to go see Peter Murphy on the 11th. You should come too.
