Things in Nevada is getting more and more better for me and my family. My older brother and sister in law got a good job that pay really well.I truly believe Nevada is the place for me and my family to be at for now. In California, we all were so furious, very tight on money and always have to worry about money. Here in nevada we feel so comfortable and dont have to worry too much about money. There were not many good opportunity with jobs that pay well in California. Places here is always hiring and is always in need for people
I got alot of job offering but unfortunately I had to turn down because the salary is not enough to live on. I have to make sure I make enough to live on so I can cut ssi. I want to stop receiving ssi. I had an interview with the school district for the deaf program last week...I am keeping my fingers crossed, hopefully I will get the job. It pay well and comes with good health benefits which is a plus! While I wait, i will continue on look for something else maybe something relate with data entry or filing clerk. that is something I dont mind. On other hand, most of the time, I stay home with those 2 brat cats- darla and tom. we also have 2 birds-alice and sam. I really do enjoy staying at home. it is so nice and relaxing. I started working out about 2 weeks ago. I want to get back in shape. Let's hope I dont lose my motivation and give up! ha ha!
as a matter of fact, yes, i do miss california. California will always be in my heart. I try not to think too much about it because when I do it makes me miss California more and more. I can always go back and if I want to visit, i dont mind the drive. it is only 4 hours away.
There is one thing that is so bad is that I am really really I mean really addicted to is coffee! yikes!! They are way too good to resist! AND, oh yes babe, I am getting my braces taken off next month! That was way tooooo fast and didnt expect the ortho telling me they are gonna take it off. I cant wait even though i only had it on for 6 months and I hate it already! Will have to wear retainer for awhile but heck that is way better than having braces!
I really misssss my dearly best friend, Stacy. She is at Gallaudet and is on the volleyball team. She says she is really happy and love it out there. I am so happy for her. Been vping with her almost everyday, hehe! (if you wanna vp lemme know!) Oh yes, there is also other person I miss dearly, JOOL!! I also miss Stacy's parents very much. They are my second family. They are always here for me no matter what...and *sigh* I miss Stacy's mother's cooking. She makes the best food in the world. I always tell her she should open her own restaurant one day! She just laughed and said no way! If people want to come and eat my food they have to come to the house!
I just finished reading the glass castle book. it is really good book. It is funny, sad, quirky and loving. It was based on a true story written by Jeannette Walls.
