„I love you. I love you so, so much.“ The young man repeated the same words over and over again clasping his boyfriend’s pale hand. His shoulders were shaken with violent sobs, his face was dripping with tears. “I’m sorry, so sorry, I didn’t mean to make you leave. I love you.” He was kneeling on the carpeted floor, rocking his upper body back and forth in a steady pace. The crepuscular light seemed to make everything take on the same dull color but the blond boy didn’t care. His heart had been brutally torn into a million pieces and his world had crashed irreparably. He didn’t understand why he was still breathing. He didn’t want to breathe anymore. He didn’t want to stay. “Why have you done this to me?” he cried out in agony, his head falling back and the hot tears burning his skin.
He didn’t notice the hours passing by, He didn’t perceive the heavy footsteps. He didn’t hear the voices. When he felt himself being yanked up he started to scream. “No! I need to leave with him! NO!”
“38 stabs with a knife. They’re both covered in blood but the offender doesn’t seem to have any wounds,” the police officer reported quietly to his partner. “No visible wounds, at least.”
