Holy shit, my foot hurts so bad. I must have done something to it a couple weeks ago, but I have no idea what. So now I'm stuck going to doctors and getting x-rays because no one knows what's wrong with it >.< It's been painful for a couple weeks now, but it just recently started affecting my ankle and my leg. I got a negative x-ray and was told it's tendinitis, but I went to my physical today (which never actually happened because she was late and my mom made it very clear I had to be out the door by 10:50) and my primary care physician said I shouldn't be in this much pain. So >.< she's sending me to an orthopedic doctor, I guess, on Tuesday. The other possibility is a hairline fracture. No thanks. It hurts so bad =( I can barely put my shoe on in the morning, and now I have to wear my "running shoes" (like hell I run) because they're form fitting (as opposed to my skate boarding shoes and flip flops which offer no support or structure) and offer arch support. I'm wicked pissed cuz it hurts a bit to use the brake in my car! But like hell I'm giving up driving!! I can deal with a little pain!!!

I started a job Monday which is minimum wage ($8) for about four hours a day, six times a week. Now, without tax cuts, that's $192 a week, or $768 a month. It's a seasonal job, so I'll only be here for about three more months ($2,304). Bonus, is I don't spend money on gas because I walk the two minutes down the road to work =)

It's called AmeraSport and it's a small business that manufactures and ships out gear to summer camps. Basically all I'm doing right now is filling the orders, which includes me wandering around looking for codes (A02, for example, is a heavyweight t-shirt. But since they're different camps, I need to find that camp first, then the code). Did I mention the codes tend to be out of order? Then if that's out of stock in the camp's section, I have to go to blank stock to get it, write down on my form that in needs heat pressing (logo "ironed" on) or embroidery. Sometimes there's nothing in that code in the camp OR in blank stock, in which then I have to print out a label and put it on the missing line.

Aside from clothes, they also offer basic camping gear, like small foam foldable chairs, sleeping bags, cot sheets, sports gear (shin pads, swim caps, lacrosse goggles, etc), and everything in between. It's tons of fun but I'M ON MY FEET THE ENTIRE FOUR HOURS. Luckily I ignore the pain once I get going because I'm so preoccupied with filling orders. The other night I filled an order over $600 and I thought that was huge. Well, tonight I picked an order worth over $2,300!! Someone's spoiled! I think the poor girl is being sent away all summer!! She had 12 t-shirts, 10 tank tops, 10 long sleeve shirts, 4 pairs of shorts, 2 pairs of sweatpants, 7 pairs of jodphurs... and more! Crazy crazy. But I love it <3
