Whoaaaa
Good news! I'm returning a bit to my old self.
Listen to this (and yes it'll sound pathetic but it's truly exhilirating for me!)... Last night Dan (the 20 year old who Caroline knows who moved here) calls and says that his friend is in town from Illinois (whose, may I add, name is Jeff) and they want to do something. I work 9-6 the next day but I said I'd be up for something. Surprisingly enough we can't think of anything to do (because Dan also had to work at 9am), so we just decide to fall back onto the BOWLING alley. So we go and bowl a couple of games, just us 3. But it was fun, they're still really cool to hang out with, even if they can't legally go out but once they are 21, they're going to be awesome bar buddies! haha
Then tonight Meghan McGee (zeta, I went to Innsbruck with her) calls me. She lives in the subdivision next to mine but she usually travels on the weekends to visit people. She asks if I still want to go out (we had discussed it the day before but I didn think she'd actually follow through with it this time). Of course I said "Yessss!" So she finds someone from her work who is up for it too and BAM! We're going to Riverfront in Ft Lauderdale tonight. I'm so pumped! haha I work at 9 tomorrow but I really don't care! I did a lotta loose ends today at work so tomorrow I can just relax, read my book and sip on Red Bulls all day.
Speaking of Red Bulls, I had my first one today in a longggg time. and wow, those things really do a number on me. I had soo much energy. The girl I was working with said that she's never seen me like that.
So anyway I'm just excited that I'm going out with different people TWO nights in a frickin' ROW. And yes, this makes me pathetic but I don't care - I'm sharing it with you all anyway.
also - CONGRATS TO KAYLA (my fiance) ON HER JOB!!!! Very cool!
