(no subject)
I havn't updated in a while which doesnt suprise me.
ive been very busy, i went to chicago last week and i found my coming home dress. =]
even though i might not even be able to go thanks to work. im very upset with my manager right now. Last night i went to go write on the calender that i needed the 10th off for coming home, which would make it 2 weeks in advance which is perfect, but then i see she has a fashion show that day so she cant work, and then shes having Erica be in the fashion show, so she cant work either, so Meghan is the only one who can work that knows what shes doing, but it would be all day saturday which would be a 11 hour day which is illegal SO im basicly screwed. Then she starts having an attitude with me saying "YOU GUYS ARE ALL SCREWING ME OVER YOU KNOW THAT! IM SICK OF MY EMPLOYEES NEVER BEING ABLE TO WORK." ok for one I AM IN HIGHSCHOOL, im not in college like eveyone else, and im going to have fun while i can. i am going to go to my dances. i dont play sports so i never have to ask time off for that, so what its one day that i ask to do something and she has a big old fit with it.
AND THEN she has the nerve to say "you guys could really use Lisa as an example" ok for one Lisa is new and has been working there since the end of January, shes a sophmore in college, but acts like shes 10 because she doesnt talk to the costomers she just stands there the entire time. When she does rarely talk to a costomer she is SO soft spoken you cant hear her AT ALL. She works 1 to 2 days a week. I work about 5 days a week and i am a junior in highschool, what does that tell you? So i should learn from her because she doesnt call in on her one day a week schedule?? i was working up to 30 sometimes 35 hours a week during November and December which is illegal, and i am a junior in highschool, i never got to do anything, and your comparing me to learn from someone who is in college and works one day a week? i dont think so. im so sick of her comments that she makes to everyone. im really just done with it, if i end up leaving whatever, its a good job i get paid $8 an hour, but if i have to go somewhere else and actually get treated with respect for a little more money then so be it.
