(no subject)
I just talked with Dianna and she had talked to Kimberly the other day. Kim told her she doesn't have enough money to pay for her wedding. I feel so bad for her. My parents want to help out but I guess they've told her that what they have given her is all they can afford right now. I worked last week typing all the address to print onto the invitations and called Kim last weekend to verify some address but our phone call got cut off and she never called me back. Apparently that's why. She doesn't have enough money to pay for the wedding let alone all the stamps for the invites and response envelopes. I wish I could help her out with thoses since I have them at the house. For the past month I've prayed for her and Jeremy's wedding finances to be met but that hasn't seemed to work. If praying for that hasn't worked then what should I pray for so my sister can have the wedding of her dreams. I'm glad I just started thinking up ideas for her bridal shower. Since my aunt told me what happened I am taking my thoughts in a very different direction. At first I was thinking of a big get together in Orlando so she could get lots of presents but now I'm thinking of just having a very small group and doing a girls day out to have fun and for one day let Kim forget about the wedding and just relax. Even a weekend at a beach house would be a great idea. That is if my sister is still going to have her wedding this year.
Last night I went to baccalaureate. I sat with Phil's family. Kathie has been having some medical problems recently so seeing her there smiling made me really happy she was doing better. Jenna read a letter to one of her friends which reminded me of all the times we spent together laughing and crying and then laughing until we were crying. LOL Her giving me piggy back rides, tickle wars back in the day, and You're a dork and I'm a dork but at least we can be dorks together. Oh the memories, anyways back to last night... I got a pic of Dimitry as he was walking out and tried to get one of Phil but got the kid behind him. Afterwards Kathie wanted me to meet Phil's girlfriend Andrea so I found them and got to meet her. I took a pic of Phil with his parents then one of Phil and Andrea. Then went and found Jenna and got a picture taken with her even though she had taken her cap and gown off before I found her. Then went and talked to her mom and sister. I had seen Laura Janis there too so I found her with her family and I guess her mom hadn't seen me b/c I see her peaking around someone shoulder to see me and she freaked out. I thought she was going to cry. She was so excited to see me. I talked with her and Laura and then walked out with them to our cars.
Tonight after work I'm going to Dimitry's to pick up my graduation ticket from him. He had asked me in September if I would go to see him graduate. So last weekend I called him to see if he still wanted me to go but he said they wouldn't have enough tickets for me to go but apparently one of his relatives couldn't go or they gave him more tickets then he was expecting b/c this morning he told me he now had one. We'll see tonight. It would be nice to go but if no one had an extra ticket I wouldn't mind.
15 more days until I'm at Music Workshop. I can't believe this is my 10th year going.
