A long time ago
I used to update this thing all the fucking time. My mom bought herself a computer and i am using the dial up version of access so you can all imaging how long i have already been sitting here. Anyway.
Life is pretty good. I keep running into people and trying to find clever ways of avoiding talking about the past year is fruitless. Most of the time i wind up talking and talking and talking. The whole time in my head i hear:
"STOP! WHAT THE FUCK! WHY ARE YOU TELLING THEM THAT! WHY DO THEY CARE! DAMN IT! IT ISN'T THAT BIG A DEAL, JUST TELL THEM IT ISN'T THAT BIG A DEAL"
and finally i do tell them it isn't that big a deal but by that time they already have the "holy crap, what do i say now" face and i am stuck.
The benifit to this is people want to buy me lunch after this and i am alright taking advantage of that.
I love hanging out with Sandy, Arlene, and Liz again. And i am meeting new people at work which is cool. Lately i have been missing some of the stuff back in Seattle. Beth and Tommy obviously. But also Matt and all of his really rad friends. I really loved hanging out with them, and if you get a chance to drink a beer or 10 with them, take it.
Tucson, is good to me though. My job is great. I work at a charter high school. Actually i work at the management group that runs three of them. I am a registrar (offical transcripts, processing credits, ect.) but i also create the newsletter which is a nice way to break up my time. And it is kind of fun to pretend it actaully takes creative skill to choice clip art.
That is it for the moment i am off to get a face full of Reese Witherspoon as a ghost.
