:::: SIGH ::::

I JUST registered for my classes for my last year of college :C As in I just planned out my Summer, Fall AND Spring all at once.

:::Let's out a giant sigh:::

As if registereing for classes and planning out 1 semester wasn't stressful enough UCF had this bright idea of making students register for an ENTIRE YEAR! If their goal was to give me a heart attack... mission-a-fuckincomplished!

So you may have heard me rant and bitch about having this rude awakening about a month ago about being informed by an advisor that I've never taken any of my 4! electives! He literally said "Well usually college students fuck up and don't know what to do with them selves so they take all these bullshit classes to help them try and figure out what it is they want to do in life as a career. And since you knew what you wanted to do and stuck to it you're actually getting fucked in the long run cause now you have to take these bullshit classes." Yeah, I was really pissed and hi I didn't know I was going to be a hospitality major. My first summer starting here I was undecided and then later was an Education Major after like a semester or two I discovered about the Hospitlaity major and fell in love with that. And I was lucky cause all of the pre-reqs I had been taking for my Education major applied for Hospitality pre reqs which ended up working out perfectly, excpet now in the long run I'm still screwed. So you're probably thinking well hey now you can relax and take bullshit classes. Well I was planning on having the entire summer off and then taking four classes in fall and then four more in the spring and then graduating May 2006. The only way for me to do that would be to take two classes in the summer, 5 in the fall and 5 in the spring. Which by the way is NOT easy to organize/plan out when you have a full time job that you need to work around to fit your schedule.

So my classes are as follow:

For the first half of the summer I'll be taking Quantitiy Food and Preperation (Which I've been putting off now ever since I've been a hospitality major. Becuase there's this really long lab and the book that you need which is a 100+ dollars and you need to buy a lab coat and goggles and all sorts of shit I don't need nor care about.)

And I'm taking my first online course which is Strategic Managment in the Hospitality Industry

So I'll be in class on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00-11:50AM then on Thursdays I'll have to stay for the Food lab which is from 2:00-5:50PM. So my days off from work for the summer will probably be Thursdays and Fridays and I'll work every other day. Mon-Wed I'll just close the parks after class. Now it doesn't sound THAT bad and it will only be for the first half of the summer from May 16th till June 24th (so I'll still have the second half of the summer off which I can't wait for. I really need a vacation I didn't go anywhere or do anything for spring break except for work and get hella overtime and I'm burned out).

For Fall I'll have Monday & Wednesday classes and then 1 on Friday :C
Entertainment Arts & Events from 9:00-10:15AM MONDAY & WEDNESDAY
Tourism Geography 10:30-11:45AM MONDAY & WEDNESDAY with Dr. CHEN AGAIN HANNY! HAHAHAA!
Exploring Wines 1:30-3:45PM MONDAY & WEDNESDAY (Which I've been so looking foward to take it's not even funny)
Managing Employee Experience 4:30-5:45PM MONDAY & WEDNESDAY
And then On FRIDAY I'm taking Convention Conference Sales from 1:30-4:15PM taught by the manager of the OCCC :D

For Spring (MY LAST SEMESTER OF COLLEGE) I'll have all Tuesday & Thursday classes
Events Managment from 9:00-10:15AM
Catering Managment from 10:30-11:45AM
(then I have a ridiculously long 3 hour break :C WHICH SUCKS!)
Exhibitor Trade Show Operations 3:00-4:15PM
AND THEN ON THURSDAYS ONLY Attraction Product Development 6:00-8:50PM
(So I'll definetly need Fridays off from work Cause I'll be so suicidal on thursday nights it won't even be funny)
