I don't have to date him, so I can deal with it. Also, it makes a difference when you weren't involved at the beginning of a fandom; if you already know about the downward spiral, it doesn't make you want to hang yourself when it happens. WOE.

...I had no idea Pete was only 27. He's a freaking baby. He can still be fixed!

Dude, I had no idea how young I was when I was 27. TINY TINY TINY. When I was 19, I was like--adorable, dude. Fluffy baby Nic. I want to pinch my own cheeks.

I don't think I'd want my hand on Pete. I'd be happy just to look at him being inexplicably the prettiest thing I've ever, ever seen with his long legs and frilly lashes and pillowy mouth and skin like skimmed cream.
