This is totally amazing! All of the voices are perfect, and Shawn is outstanding. And I'm in love with every response that Teal'c makes to anything Shawn says.

Love that Gus knew about Daniel and thought he was insane. :) Love that Shawn just stumbles into the world of Stargate by coming across that bead in Egypt. Really love that he misses Santa Barbara, and his friends there, and the way his friendships with the SG-1 team just don't seem the same as the ones he left behind.

Oh, and the way the whole story flows? Is awesome. Shawn out in the world - and beyond - experiencing BIG stuff, jobwise and place-wise, but still returns to Santa Barbara at the end (as he's done before). He's out among people who see him differently, and who let him risk his life, but after a time he returns to the people who were so much more personally concerned for him. (I love Lassiter being worried for Shawn. :) ) And the epilogue was like coming home, Shawn style.

Anyway, I'm just blown away by this. Did I mention it's amazing? Because it really is.

And now I've got to go get a new pet or something, because something in my house must be named Ermengarde Jetson. :)

Oh, I am so delighted that you enjoyed it! I fretted over it for ages, hoping that I'd managed to get things to your liking, and it's wonderful to know that I did! I'm especially pleased you felt the epilogue was good, because I was worried that it might seem a bit rushed.

If you can't get a pet, I recommend naming appliances. It's always good fun. ;-)

Thank you tons for your lovely long and thoughtful comment, it means the world to me.
