You have taken my prompt and turned it into pure sparlky gold of AWESOME! Er, that is to say that I love it to bits! Characterizations are spot on and the dialogue killed me dead. Especially comparing Chuck to pie. That made me laugh quite a bit. And the description of prison/summer camp.
I could gush endlessly about this, but I'm experimenting with self-restraint. All I can say is thank you! So very much for writing this :)

Yay, I'm so glad you like it! :)

I don't think Chuck would find it as funny, but fortunately (unfortunately?) she's not there to object!

Kitty Pims! Love it. And yes, as said before, your Chuck-as-pie metaphor is delightful. and how true that Penny, who Billy loved, would be completely against Dr. Horrible...but if Penny hadn't died in the first place, maybe there wouldn't be a Dr. Horrible anymore...

needless to say, good stuff. thanks for sharing :o)

(also, that Emerson Cod is up on the Evil League of Evil doesn't surprise me...but rather makes me giggle...they've probably been on his list for a long time...)

Lol, Emerson probably knows where they live (and/or are stabled)!

Yay! Awesome idea and excellent execution. I loved the dialogue and I loved the little details you stuck in - like Ned liking his coffee black, or Emerson having his gun cozy and his sweater vest, heh.

I want a gun cozy so badly. It is not surprising it finds a way to work itself into my fic.

This is really, really great. I liked the dark twist that it took and all the little details in the narration (Ned's caterpillar eyebrows! Hee!) were perfect. :)

“I sincerely hope you’re not comparing the woman I love to a piece of pie.”
Ned blinks. “No, I’m comparing the woman I love to a piece of pie.”
Hee! This whole story was so charming, but this was my favorite part. :)

Is that true in canon about the fruit rotting inside Ned's mouth? Tragic. I've never watched Pushing Daisies, but I really enjoyed this story.

Yes, it is canon! He's also a vegetarian. ;D
