Does anybody remember what I did today?
Oh yes I think I remember now haha.
I woke up at the disgusting hour of 7:45am. I felt like a piece of buffalo crap. Yeah, that's not good at all. :P I was | | <--this close to staying home from my softball game and sleeping in--but armed with my entire box of tissues, I somehow managed to drive myself to the high school and survive the bus ride to Masco.
Skip started like, all the freshman. I'm sorry, freshman, it's not that I do not like you, it's like I am just a cranky junior who didn't get to start again. I got to be the scorekeeper for the first half (again), which I actually didn't mind as much because I was sick.
We actually looked good out there. Like, really good. Seriously. We only lost by three runs. We had one bad inning and couldn't come back. So good job today girls, because we did good. And Lynch is an awesome pitcher. I don't care what she or anybody else says, because for someone that isn't a Joyce or hasn't had special training, she's pretty damn good.
Yeah I dropped a ball I should have caught. But I did catch a pop fly and got two awesome hits thanks to the lovely Ms. Katie Martell :) I actually felt like I did something good to help out my team.
I gave all the Masco girls my disease :P
Hey if you all wanna still do that "good game handshake" at the end of every game, then so be it hahaha
Okay then we went over to the varsity game, which was in extra innings. Masco was up at bat, with a runner on second, two outs. The Masco girl at the plate hit a ground ball to Lani at shortstop, who grabbed it and fired it to the lovely Ms. Katie Martell at first--but by the time it got to Katie, the ball was in the dirt, and it got past her! But did this stop Katie? NO WAY! She hauls ass to the ball, which at this point was almost at the fence. The Masco girl that was on second was greedy, so she tried for home. Katie FIRES it to Julie who was covering the plate. Julie catches the ball, Masco girl slides, dust is everywhere, and the umpire screams "OUT AT HOME!". Wildcats win. Amazing.

So then I didn't die on the bus and didn't die on the drive home. I took a shower that felt amazing, and I think I slept--a little. I'm not really a nap person :/
