We live such fragile lives
happy first day of fall!!! though the word autumn evokes images like the trees colored in yellows, oranges, and reds, comfy sweaters, and jumping into piles of freshly raked leaves, this is not the reality down in miami. it is exceptionally hot and humid thanks to rita and her friends. let's pray that when i claim that it's the first day of winter, it might actually be below 85. yea right. happy hoping on my part.
so, not too much is going on. more or less, this is a pointless entry. umm....i got a facebook... yea, another self-imposed addiction. ah! i have found another tidbit that's semi-interesting about my life - lax conditioning starts sunday. i claimed i was gonna join, now i claim that i will be dying very shortly. i didn't expect it to start this soon. however, i'm gonna try and do it because a) i need to be active in a sport, b) i need get regular exercise with some kind of motivation, and c) this particular sport is particularly appealing to northeastern colleges. let's just hope i can get through it. some other highlights of the week include finally getting to see a fresh episode of gilmore girls and the first show of lost for this new season. i know, it's pretty sad when you're mentioning tv shows so you have something to write about. well, here's a lowlight that may be a little more pleasing to you: my, ahem, "music provider" doesn't seem to be functioning. let's hope this is temporary. also, let's hope that i do something interesting this weekend so i don't bore you to death.
