When your conscience hits, you knock it back with pills.
turned out to be a pretty good weekend. on friday, did some errands and went to cauley square down south with my mom, abuela, and great-aunt, who's in town from venezuela. found this really awesome boutique and got these neat flats. they're canvas-like with lime green on them. how awesome's that? plans got kinda screwed up for the night but it turned out alright. jessica and i ended up seeing the island, which was really long but very action-packed. after, somehow she managed to sweet-talk her way into getting us freshly made elmo cookies. def the highlight of our nite. then we went to blockbuster, complete with singing and dancing. got home and we watched hide and seek, got our hearts pumping, talked some, and went to sleep past 3. seems summer's lack of a bedtime has gotten to us. woke up and went with her to a family get together they were having. had fun there and it was nice to be welcomed. thanks for having me jessica!!
finally got to see avi, marisol, cathy, and christin all together on saturday night. attempted to see the sneak preview of must love dogs, but it was sold out. finally got to see charlie and the chocolate factory tho!!! i was really happy with it. let me just say, willy wonka is quite the bothered person. left me heart-warmed but kinda sad. came home and stayed up way too late talking to a friend. it's funny the way life works out and what happens to/with the people you meet along its roads. anyhoo, went to a bridal shower today with my mom and aunt. it was better than expected and won a prize there. the game was how many unnecessary items on your body you could take off in a certain amount of time, w/o seeing what others were doing. see, my trademark bracelets come in handy for something!! came home and have been bumming around ever since. got a few things on my mind, which i didn't have to deal with while away. damn me and my socializing. well, that's what went on this weekend. don't think much else will happen.
