So! I emailed the trumpet professor from Yale, Allan Dean, asking if he would have a chance to hear me play sometime. He responded and said that he'll actually be in Seattle in early November because his wife is having an art show, and that he'd love to give me a lesson. Woohoooo! He's 2nd trumpet in the New York Brass Quintet, and also used to be in the St.L ouis Brass Quintet. So excited/nervous!!!
